  • [es-pree de less-ka/-iay] (idiom) A witty remark that occurs to you too late, literally on the way down the stairs. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations defines esprit de l'escalier as, "An untranslatable phrase, the meaning of which is that one only thinks on one's way downstairs of the smart retort one might have made in the drawing room."

Or pygmy chimps?

Think Ferris Bueller as an adult!!

To say nothing of this weekend's three foot burrito attempt...

What burrito?

Hooray! Amy is coming along. What size T-shirt are ya? :)

I am probably a large t-shirt person...(of course, if it's Threadless or American Apparel-y, then an XL) I am so excited to come to Chicago! I hope there will be martinis.

I love bloggy-meet-up-in-late-July. Sorry for the delayed response! :)
